| Begun in June 2008 with a vision to develop a professional outdoor theatre experience for young people ages 13 to 30 years of age, and under the direction of professional actor, director, and theatre educator, Robin Clipsham, and a volunteer Board of Directors, along with the cooperation and support of many community partners, PRISM Theatre in the Park has successfully launched three productions - A Midsummer's Night Dream (2008), The Tempest (2009), and Twelfth Night (2010). With the enthusiasm and energy, which only youth can provide, the productions are fun, funky, and approachable - the sort of theatre for the masses that would have been enjoyed by Shakespeare's original audiences. This year, the company plans to continue its presentations with a production of The Taming of the Shrew, another of Shakespeare's delightful comedies, and suitable for families.
